At Munger we teach people to become more like Jesus, and we believe there is no better way to do that than to teach folks to read the Bible.  To that end, 2017 is our Year of the Bible at Munger.  We’re calling this effort The Bible Project, and we’re updating this site daily with brief explanatory notes by our pastor, Andrew Forrest, and our Director of Discipleship, Amanda Pedigo.  These notes are not meant to be exhaustive, but are just thoughts and glosses that we hope will be helpful.  We’re also posting videos and charts and links–basically anything we find helpful.

We’re all reading from The One Year Bible (ESV version) which divides the Bible into a daily reading: an Old Testament, New Testament, Psalm, and Proverb selection.  You can take one of these paperback Bibles from a pew rack on Sundays (and yes, they’re free!).

We know how easy it is to get behind, so we’re encouraging you to jump back in no matter where you are or where you begin this year!
